We are looking for parts that have a unique complexity or are just plain cool to look at. We are also looking for parts that have been machined using Mastercams advanced toolpath capabilities.
Have you achieved a polish-like surface finish utilizing Mastercam’s toolpath refinement, or created a tough live 4th axis part or 5 axis or high speed machining? All of the above qualify and are welcome.

Prototek customers must be current on their Mastercam maintenance. Submit photos, geometry and/or an actual part to Brian Pascoe, Prototek Engineering. Grand prize Alaskan Fishing Trip details to be announced. Winners will be notified by ProtoTek following contest termination date.
Dave King of Choice Tool (Minneapolis) and Brian Pascoe of Prototek spent three incredible days fishing from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. out of Homer, Alaska -- 25 miles out on Kachemak Bay. The halibut, salmon and cod were hitting hard and steady (and we did much the same at the Salty Dawg Saloon on Homer Spit in the evening).
It’s a five hour direct flight from Minneapolis to Anchorage. Then a scenic four hour drive south through the Kenai Peninsula to Homer making it an unforgettable five day trip. Congratulations Dave!
